This creation was influenced by a personal request from a friend who loves art, especially the modern contemporary style of art. Elisa's inspiration for this sofa is Basquiar, an American artist of Haitian and Puerto Rican origins. Basquiat is a true representative of the neo-expressionism and Elisa loves him. In 2019 Elisa went to visit the “ Whitney Museum “ in NY, where she could admire the special dedicated section to his paintings.
Graffiti on furniture is a major fashion trend around the world, and this particular graffiti was inspired by the styles of New York and Milan. The sofa is painted with fabric paint bought in New York and Miami, and it can be used as a normal sofa, making it both a stylish and functional piece of art.
Elisa created different EZ mood tables: they are coffee tables where the inserted paintings can be replaced and changed according to personal moods or preferences. She designed and created six of them using different materials: iron, wood, and plexiglass. The coffee table in plexiglass, for which she holds a design patent in Europe and the USA, still needs to be launched and find a market.
